'The Dark Knight Rises' trailer was scheduled to premiere immediately before screenings of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' on Friday (15th July 2011), but a "devious movie fan" has leaked the clip online early after filming the trailer with a camcorder, according to the Huffington Post.
News of the Batman trailer leak has lit up social networking sites, with fans of the movies directing others to the YouTube videos before they are deleted by Warner Brothers. As expected, the trailer features a sneak peek of Tom Hardy as the mysterious 'Bain' villain, who also features on the film's only official poster. The clip opens with Commissioner Gordon, played by Gary Oldman, pleading for Batman's help while lying on what appears to be a hospital bed. "Every Hero Has A Journey" appears on-screen followed by the voiceover, "If you make yourself more than just a man. If you devout yourself to be ideal. And you become something else entirely. A legend Mr. Wayne", before the camera sweeps across the Gotham City skyline. The clip concludes with a stand-off between Batman and Bane, with a message reading 'The Epic Conclusion'.
Despite still being more than a year away from release, anticipation for the 'The Dark Knight Rises' is reaching fever pitch. It will be Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie following 'Batman Begins' and the hugely successful 'The Dark Knight'
