Barry Manilow is feeling the effects of the property market slump - the singer has slashed the asking price of his California beach house by almost 50 per cent.
The Mandy hitmaker purchased the Malibu mansion for $3.85 million (£2.4 million) in 2002 and, after extensive renovations, he tried to sell it for $12.6 million (£7.9 million) in 2009.
He reduced the price to just $10.9 million (£6.8 million) a few months later and it fell once again to $7 million (£4.4 million) in January 2011.
Now Manilow is hoping to finally offload the property and tempt new buyers by putting it back on the market for $6.9 million (£4.3 million).
The luxury beachfront home features three bedrooms and fourth bathrooms, fireplaces, a spacious, fully-fitted kitchen, and panoramic views of the ocean.
