Barbra Streisand has a very special new duet partner - her son JASON GOULD.

The diva has invited her boy to be part of the upcoming duets album she's working on with producer Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds - and she'll be showing him off to her fans in Brooklyn, New York next month (Oct12), when Gould will make his live debut alongside her.

The proud mum says, "I used to sing with him when he was a baby; when I came home from work we would sing together and then when he was 15 I heard this gorgeous hum from behind his door and I went, 'Jason, is that you...? Open the door...'

"A few years ago he said, 'I've started to sing and work on some music...' and I tell you, when I heard the things he's recorded, the musicianship, the sound of his voice, it's like he has a little chamber music orchestra right in his vocals.

"I said, 'Jason, I have to sing with you...'"

Aside from Gould, Streisand reveals she's working through a wish list of men she'd like to duet with for the album, and states, "Babyface has a great voice and (Andrea) Bocelli - we've been talking about singing together for a long time.

"I like Keith Urban, I like Usher, John Legend; there are some good guys around."
