Indian soap opera KARISHMA, THE MIRACLE OF DESTINY is back on the air after a Calcutta court ruled that it could be shown on a private TV channel.

The expensively produced show, which stars Bollywood 'A' lister KARISHMA KAPOOR, was pulled from schedules after British author Barbara Taylor Bradford accused it of plagiarising her novel A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE.

Bradford had obtained a court injunction against the SAHARA ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL's show but it was overturned after lawyers for the channel proved she had filed a similar case before a Bombay case.
