Seattle rockers Band Of Horses are set to release their fourth studio album 'Mirage Rock' on September 17th 2012 through Brown and Columbia records.
The album is their first to be produced by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glyn Johns, legendary producer and recording engineer who is known for his work with rock icons such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Clash, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones and The Who, to name but a handful.
'Mirage Rock' was recorded at Sunset Sound studio in LA and follows their third album 'Infinite Arms' which charted across the world on its release in 2010 and reached a peak position of number seven in the US and number two in Norway.
Band of Horses; who are currently vocalist Ben Bridwell, drummer Creighton Barrett, Ryan Monroe on keys, bassist Bill Reynolds and guitarist Tyler Ramsey; are to appear as special guests on a My Morning Jacket tour of North America this August, debuting tracks from the upcoming album plus many past favourites. They will also headline a performance in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 26th at Pioneer Park and the release of 'Mirage Rock' will precede a UK and European tour.
