Award-winning British photographer Cornel Lucas has died at the age of 92.
The famed snapper passed away at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London on Thursday (08Nov12). The exact cause of his death was unknown as Wenn went to press.
Lucas became famous for shooting stunning portraits of film stars of the 1940s and 1950s including Marlene Dietrich, Gregory Peck and Brigitte Bardot.
Lucas' work has been shown at major exhibitions in New York and London and in 1998, he became the first photographer to win a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award for services to the British Film Industry.
