THE Backstreet Boys are positive their long-awaited next album will be a hit, after teaming up with esteemed music mogul Clive Davis.

The LARGER THAN LIFE singers are currently recording their anticipated disc after a long hiatus, and they have high hopes for the summer (04) release.

Bandmember HOWIE DOROUGH says, "Now that Clive Davis is the CEO of BMG, we'll be working with him and JIVE RECORDS.

"I think he can take us to the next level. He's got, like, a magic touch, a golden finger.

"We've been fortunate already, and now with him guiding the ship, I think it will be good."
