The singer and bandmates including Slash and Duff Mckagan will perform in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica as part of a month-long trek beginning at Lima's Estadio Monumental on 27 October (16).

Nearly all the shows on the band's current Not in This Lifetime North American tour have sold out, with promoters calling the trek an "unqualified success", insisting it will be "one of the top-grossing tours of 2016 and one of the most successful reunion tours of all time".

Six shows in, the band has already grossed more than $100 million (£76 million) in ticket sales, according to Blabbermouth.net.

Axl has also booked himself a slot on AC DC's revamped U.S. tour, which begins in North Carolina at the end of August (16). He replaced singer Brian Johnson earlier this year (16) when the rocker was forced to pull out of the band's Rock or Bust trek to save his hearing.
