The concert was the first of two shows being played by the reformed rock band at the MetLife Stadium as part of its Not in This Lifetime... tour in front of a 50,000 strong crowd in East Rutherford.

According to local media outlets, concertgoers were arrested for a range of offences from drug possession to lewd conduct, with one woman reportedly taken into custody for assaulting a police officer.

Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, told website he could not immediately provide details on the charges filed.

However, the news outlet reports that aggravated assault offences were filed against a concertgoer after two State Police Troopers received minor injuries.

The tour sees the reunion of guitarist Slash, singer Axl Rose and bass player Duff MCKagan. Drummer Steven Adler has made a few guest appearances but is reportedly unable to tour with the band due to health reasons.

Guns N' Roses performed a second concert at the venue on Sunday night (24Jul16) before the band head to Atlanta to play the Georgia Dome on Wednesday. The tour is scheduled to run until November.
