Illness has forced Canadian singer Avril Lavigne to pull out of six dates of the US leg of her worldwide tour.
The 23-year-old has cancelled six concerts from The Best Damn Tour due to acute laryngitis.
Four shows in California - Anaheim, Universal City, Santa Barbara and San Jose and two in Washington Everett and Spokane have been dropped.
A message on the singer's website said refunds would be available from point of purchase from Monday onwards.
Avril had already cancelled shows in Phoenix and San Diego due to illness.
"My sincerest apologies to all of my fans," she said on her official website.
"My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realised this wasn't possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out."
She went on to say: "I have never cancelled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux [sic]!"
Avril is next due to perform in Glasgow on May 26th as the UK-leg of her tour begins.
