Starring in the first Austin Powers movie gave Elizabeth Hurley a whole new fan-base - small children.

The British model-turned-actress has long been the object of the desires of adolescents and older film fans.

But since her role as spoof bond-babe VANESSA KENSINGTON in the 1997 comedy caper, Hurley has found herself idolised by spy-mad kids.

She says, "I sometimes have four-year-old boys flinging themselves at me like little Exocet missiles when I'm in restaurants.

"It's weird. It's all to do with Austin Powers. They want me in that silver mini-skirt."
