Ashton Kutcher, the American actor and star of 'That 70's Show' and 'Punk'd', has officially signed on to replace Charlie Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men', according to Despite being one of most bankable stars in Hollywood, Ashton Kutcher's new role will see him earning considerably less than the $1.25 million per episode made by his predecessor.
33-year-old Ashton will reportedly earn more than $625,000 per episode, but less than $900,000. Some reports suggest that Sheen received upwards of $2 million per episode, but that includes his profit participation. CBS boss Les Moonves is expected to announce Kutcher as Sheen's replacement within the next few days and cast-members Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are also said to be returning to the show. It has also become clear that Kutcher will not be playing Sheen's 'Charlie Harper' and will instead be introduced as a new character joining the Malibu household. The actor has already met with creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre and the two "got along great".
