The actress, who found fame opposite Zac Efron in High School Musical, had been branching out in the style and beauty world recently, and as well as her new T-shirts, Ashley is also behind a cosmetics line.

Her 39-piece collection with Signorelli is full of fun pieces, with names such as Let's Brunch, Wander and I'd Rather Be In Rio.

"I get to bring my creative vision and collaborate on the T-shirts and the expanding full apparel line (launching this fall)," the blonde star smiled to America's Star magazine. "And, I add a bit of edge to this brand, which has been a lot of fun."

Prices start at $38, and are available from Signorelli's online store. Ashley has been modelling many of her designs, which she reveals were inspired by her own life.

"(The process is) fast!" she exclaimed. "It's crazy; in fashion everything needs to get done so far in advance. It's cool to be able to collaborate and take inspiration from my life and put it into this line."

When asked to chose her favourite, Ashley had a clear winner.

"There are so many I love, but I'd go with Surf Paris," she said of a white top with red and blue writing on it.

And on the subject of style advice, 30-year-old Ashley says it's all about how you feel in your clothes.

"It's not what you wear, but how you wear it. Confidence is key!" she stated.

Ashley is also busy at the moment with The Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale collection, a make-up line that boasts two eyeshadow and blush palettes, six lip glosses and six cheek and lip tints."I'm someone who loves make-up - I love doing my own make-up and getting my make-up done - and I had specific ideas for what I wanted the palettes to look like so they would represent me," Ashley told WWD.
