Ashley Greene is not expecting a 'Twilight' movie about her character Alice Cullen's back story.

The US actress admits it is unlikely the past of her vampire character - the sister of Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen - will be revealed in a separate film, but hopes fans understand the story without needing to see it.

She said: "I think at this point if there was going to be a back story there probably would have been. But of course I would have liked to have shown a back story.

"But I think the nice thing I have going for me is that these fans know probably more about Alice than I do so they certainly know her back story and where I'm coming from with this character."

Discussing the release of set of action figure Barbie-style dolls related to the cast of 'Twilight', Ashley admits she feels she has "made it" now she has a doll-equivalent of herself.

She told Digital Spy: "I haven't held the Barbie yet! No I have seen the action figure...but it's pretty awesome. I've seen pictures of the Barbie, but that's pretty awesome. You know you've made it when you are made into a Barbie."

'The Twilight Sage: Eclipse' - which also stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart - is in US cinemas now and is released in the UK on July 9.
