Ashlee Simpson, the 26-year-old American singer-songwriter and wife of Fall Out Boy guitarist PETE WETNZ, has urged her sister Jessica Simpson to start a family with her new fiance Eric Johnson. Speaking to People Magazine, Ashlee said that she thought her sister would make a "wonderful mother".
Jessica, who went through a high-profile divorce from husband Nick Lachey in 2006, announced her engagement to NFL player ERIC JOHNSON last month. Sister Ashlee recently visited the couple's new home, and said, "She is genuinely very, very happy. And you go to their house and it's warm and cosy, and it's a good feeling. He's just a good guy". Ashlee married husband Wentz at the Simpson's family home in 2008, and she gave birth to her first child, BRONX MOWGLI WENTZ, in November of that year. Speaking about her sister's relationship with her son, Ashlee said Jessica was a "wonderful godmother and aunt".
When asked whether she thought Jessica was ready to have children, the 26-year-old said, "Do I want them to have kids? Of course it would be wonderful if it happened".
