California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has turned his new office into a tourist attraction, after placing his name in flashy gold letters above his door.

The TERMINATOR star, who won the Governorship in October (03), made orders over the weekend (7/8FEB04) for bold new markings to be added to the public hall outside his office so tourists would no longer wonder where he works.

Schwarzenegger was dissatisfied with the relatively low-key letters etched into a marble facade over the doorway.

His spokeswoman TERRI CARBAUGH explains, "The bottom line is that the Governor felt that the visiting public were not clearly made aware of his office when they walked by.

"He was determined to let the general public know that this is his office."
