Voters in California are showing their opposition to governor Arnold Schwarzenegger - by burning copies of his movies.
Residents unhappy at the star's policies are holding impromptu bonfires fuelled by DVDs starring the Terminator actor, and other memorabilia associated with his films.
They are also hurling Schwarzenegger movie posters onto the pyre, according to the New York Post.
Playwright Larry Myers tells gossip column PageSix, "The flames were reminiscent of those which engulfed St. Joan of Lorraine (Joan of Arc)."
