Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's luxury mansion has become the focal point for protestors trying to save a man on death row from being executed today (10FEB04).

The group - who are trying to get the death penalty laws scrapped - met outside the TERMINATOR star's home yesterday (09FEB04) to present their case to the politician in person.

Protestors, including REVEREND JESSIE JACKSON, are being supported by entertainment heavyweights Denzel Washington, Sean Penn and Richard Dreyfuss who are all campaigning to prevent the death of multiple murderer Kevin Cooper, 46.

Cooper murdered four people in 1985 and has been on death row ever since. His last ditch appeal was rejected on Sunday (8FEB04), leading the way for the first execution in California for two years.
