The Terminator star insists reducing the consumption of animal products will have a noticeable effect on the amount of emissions produced by the farming and fisheries industry.

Arnold was in Paris, France for the United Nations summit on climate change, and on Tuesday (08Dec15), he gave a speech to students at the city's leading political science institute, Sciences Po, where he took the opportunity to outline his latest initiative to reduce carbon emissions.

He told the BBC, "My friend recommends stop eating meat (sic). I think that's a good idea but people won't buy in. People will buy in to stop eating meat one or two days a week - you have to start slowly. It's a very big challenge but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be done."
