Veep creator Armando Iannucci has vowed not to tone down his authority-baiting TV shows despite accepting a British Establishment honour from Queen Elizabeth II.
The satirical writer has penned several comedy series poking fun at politicians and others in a position of privilege in his native U.K.
He attracted criticism for accepting an Order of the British Empire medal in the monarch's 2012 Birthday Honours List, but Iannucci is adamant he won't be stopped from writing anti-Establishment comedies.
He tells British magazine S, "Let's hope it's not an attempt to shut me up, because it's not going to work."
