Soul legend Aretha Franklin was serenaded by a waiter at a New York eaterie - and was so impressed she has tipped the restaurant worker for stardom.
The Queen of Soul was enjoying a night out at the Brasserie Ruhlmann in the Rockefeller Center when she was given a surprise performance by a staff member, who sang a section from Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot in front of diners.
And Franklin was left impressed with the waiter's impromptu rendition.
She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. He needs an agent."
