British chart-toppers the Arctic Monkeys may be joining forces with pop heavy weight Justin Timberlake, it has emerged.
A report in the Sun suggests that the group, whose hits include I BET YOU LOKK GOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR and TEDDY PICKER, has attracted the attention of JT after they were both in London last week.
A source reportedly told the newspaper: "The Arctics and Justin met up one afternoon and discussed the possibility of doing something."
They added that it would be "brilliant" to see them working together as they all have such wide musical tastes.
"It would be a match made in music heaven," they continued.
Both the ARTIC MONKEYS and the former N'SYNC star have worked with a variety of artists in the past.
Justin can currently be heard on queen of pop Madonna's latest single alongside Timbaland while the Monkeys have paired with Dizzee Rascal.
Meanwhile, the Sheffield-born foursome are set to dominate the NME Shockwave awards on February 28th.
They are up for seven awards at the ceremony, where the winners are decided by readers of NME magazine.
The accolades they will be hoping to go home with include Best British Band, Best Live Band, Best Album and Best Track.
