The British rockers opened the ceremony in London on Wednesday night (19Feb14) with a fiery performance of their hit R U Mine?, flanked by a burning Am, the title of their record which scooped the Best British Album award at the prizegiving.
Turner admits he found the daring display fun but he has now spoken out to insist the band is determined to stick to its trademark straightforward concerts in future.
He tells NME.com, "I'm not going to rule it out, but that was hilarious. (The organisers) said, 'Do you want to perform at The Brits?' And the condition was we set an Am on fire. So yeah, don't expect us to add it to our own shows. I mean, we're used to playing with fire now, you've got to understand."
