A copy of a 'lost' album by British dance star Aphex Twin has gone on sale online for $13,500 (£8,438).
The rare double vinyl edition of Caustic Window was printed as a test pressing in 1994, but the project was subsequently scrapped and never released.
The copy is reportedly one of just five test pressings made and the mystery seller claims to have obtained it from bosses at Aphex Twin's own Rephlex Records 20 years ago.
Listing the album on Discogs.com, the seller writes, "The 5th... test pressing! A chance to share the music, or keep it to yself (yourself). I'll demonstrate it's (sic) authenticity & deliver by any reasonable means. Unplayed, & Rephlex will never press it."
Meanwhile, fans on online music forum We Are The Music Makers are reportedly planning to launch a Kickstarter.com campaign to publicly raise the funds to purchase Caustic Window and turn it into a one-off digital release.
