Movie veteran SIR Anthony Hopkins is planning to ditch his acting career and create musical scores to rival those of legendary composer Ludwig Van Beethoven. The Welsh actor has always had a passion for music and co-wrote the score for 1996 movie AUGUST. Hopkins decided to ditch Hollywood after becoming disillusioned by the current lack of acting talent, and has already started work on a new symphony. He tells PageSix.com, "I've listened to a couple of bars of my symphony, and it would seem I'm not too bad. Anyone can be an actor these days, especially in the cinema. But my dream has always been to be as musically talented as Beethoven!"
