A WILDWORKS exhibition and auction is to launch at the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in Mayfair featuring original art works created by famous celebrities to celebrate 30 years of The Born Free Foundation. Hollywood actor Billy Zane, celebrated lyricist Bernie Taupin and comedy favourite Jim Moir (Vic Reeves) all recognised contemporary artists, are amongst the stars to put brush to canvas this month, creating original artwork in honour of the third decade anniversary of the international wildlife charity founded by legendary actress and conservationist Virginia McKenna OBE. The WILDWORKS exhibition will take place at the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in London's Mayfair, and feature one-off art by the all-star line-up which also includes: Josie Russell; Anthea Turner; Lady Victoria Hervey; Anneka Rice, Wendy Turner Webster and Royal portrait artist Nicky Philips. A gallery of colourful images - from: sleeping lions, to leaping leopards, to thought provoking and vibrant images of wildlife - all courtesy of these creative celebs will grace the walls of the gallery. With the famous wildlife lovers using their artistic talents to produce stunning works, all inspired by Born Free's work to 'keep wildlife in the wild'. WILDWORKS will launch with a VIP auction at the Gallery on Tuesday 11th November. Bargain Hunt's James Lewis will oversee the sale of these one-off pieces, raising money for the charity's vital conservation work.
