The psychologist accused of illegally prescribing drugs to Anna Nicole Smith has been released from jail after posting $20,000 (£14,280) bail.
Dr. Khristine Eroshevich turned herself into Van Nuys Jail in California on Monday morning (16Mar09).
She was released several hours later once she had paid bail, according to the office of her attorney Adam Braun.
The news comes just three days after Smith's longtime boyfriend and lawyer, Howard K. Stern, was booked on the same charges.
Eroshevich stands accused of conspiring with Stern, and another doctor, Sandeep Kapoor, to keep the late model with a steady supply of prescription drugs - despite knowing she was an addict.
Smith died in February 2007 from combined drug intoxication. Her death came just months after her 20-year-old son Daniel passed away and the birth of her daughter, Dannielynn.
