Cult rockers Animal Collective have been forced to axe another four shows on their North American tour.
The band postponed a gig in Toronto, Canada over the weekend (09-10Mar13) due to "sudden illness" and now they have called off a number of planned U.S. concerts.
They postponed Monday night's (11Mar13) show in Cleveland, Ohio and now the axe has fallen on a further three dates, including gigs in Covington, Kentucky, Nashville in Tennessee, and Royal Oak, Michigan.
A statement posted on the band's official Facebook.com page reads, "Due to a band illness, Animal Collective regretfully has rescheduled five dates of their North American tour. The dates have been rescheduled for mid-July. All tickets will be honoured for rescheduled dates... All other dates will continue as planned."
No further details have been released about which bandmember has fallen sick or his condition.
