The Brangelina brand is not merely limited to looking very pretty, which both Brad and Ange manage to do very well, both on screen and in print. Nor is it merely having many children of many different nationalities and having them play roles in the films you're in - although that is part of it. The Brangelina brand also incorporates being involved in unexpected businesses. Last year Brad co-designed some furniture, and this year the couple are venturing out into the wine business. As report, the famous pair have bagged themselves a vine and are to produce it on their French vineyard alongside the Perrin family.

The Jolie-Pitts have been on the property, named Château Miraval, for a number of years, but were renting up until last year when they finally bought the entire 500-ha land mass for around $60m. The vast space covers an entire valley, including the right climate and altitude to produce the best grapes. "The terroir, the freshness that comes from the altitude, and the exposition of the vines are all incredible," Marc Perrin told Decanter. "For us as winemakers, it's a wonderful opportunity to work with grapes that we know well, in an environment where striving for quality is the most important thing."

Until last year the property's grapes were still harvested and used by another company. But now that the Perrins have taken over that side of the business, the Hollywood couple will have a greater say in the process of wine making. As Perrin said, they attended the blending session last year. Expect to see the Rose wine with the Jolie-Pitt name to it sometime in March, with whites following later in the year. Bottoms up!
