Angelina Jolie is to pay $5 million (GBP3 million) over the next 15 years to help set up a wildlife sanctuary in the area of Cambodia once controlled by the evil KHYMER ROUGE.

The gorgeous actress, who adopted her son MADDOX from the war-torn country, has already paid $350,000 (GBP220,000) to get the project started, according to MOUNH SARATH of the CAMBODIAN VISION IN DEVELOPMENT charity.

More than 49,500 acres of forest in north-west Cambodia will be protected by the new sanctuary, and cash will also go to helping war veterans and amputee victims of the genocidal guerilla group.

Mr Sarath says, "This is a great opportunity for us to restore deforested areas and protect wildlife to ensure local communities will not destroy them."
