Troubled comedian Andy Dick is in the clear after prosecutors decided to drop his theft case, according to a U.S. report.

The funnyman was arrested in Los Angeles on 7 November (14) over allegations he took a necklace worth $1,000 (£625) from a man on the city's Hollywood Boulevard earlier this month (Nov14).

He was freed on bail ahead of a looming court date in December (14), but editors at now report DICk's case has been dropped by prosecutors.

Officials reportedly decided against prosecution because DICk had given the necklace back to the alleged victim.
