Andrea Riseborough finds it ''odd'' being famous.

The 30-year-old actress, whose body of films include Madonna's 'W.E' and new Tom Cruise action flick 'Oblivion', still finds it strange to be in the limelight and is aware her private life is now public property.

She said: ''The past couple of years haven't been my own privately because you have photographers following you and people recognise you.

''It is an odd feeling rather than an unwelcome one.''

While Andrea loves being an actress, she finds the environment is full of ''pressure'' to keep up with her fellow stars.

The pretty brunette doesn't think she will ever master how to dress for the red carpet.

In an interview with The Times newspaper, she said: ''To be in the pool of actors I am is very high-pressure. [Red-carpet dressing] doesn't come naturally to me, but it's about selling the film.''

Andrea often escapes attention by staying at her home in Idaho with her artist boyfriend Appel, who she met four years ago at the premiere of Woody Allen's movie 'Whatever Works', and she believes the pair will marry and settle down some time in the future.

She said: ''We ended up standing together [at the premiere] ... He's so incredible and inspiring, smart and gentle, full of fire and passion.

''[Marriage and children] are something in the future; it would be wonderful, but I still feel very young.''
