Tears Dry On Their Own
Amy Winehouse whose album 'Back To Black' has now sold over 1 million copies in the UK, has her new Island single, 'Tears Dry On Their Own', released on August 13th 2007. Amy returns to the UK next week for a series of summer live performances and will also attend
the Ivor Novello Awards in London where her song 'Rehab' has been short-listed in the Best Contemporary Song category. In addition the 23 year-old Londoner has picked up 3 nominations at the Mojo Honours List which takes place on June 18th.
Amy has been touring in the States where she continues to ride high in the Billboard chart following her staggering breakthrough earlier this year when 'Back To Black' entered the Billboard Hot 100 album chart at no. 7, making Amy the highest debuting British female artist in the history of the US albums chart.
