British singer Amy Winehouse has found a new drinking buddy - in the shape of her dad.
The hard-drinking REHAB star brought her father along to the Brit Awards ceremony last night (14FEB07), where she was named the Best Female Solo Artist, and revealed her parent could rival her in the partying stakes.
She said, "My dad is on a mission to get drunk because he hardly ever drinks normally as he's driving. But tonight he's going to celebrate.
"He's on my table and the two of us are going to be joined at the hip. I'm going to make sure he does plenty of partying.
Winehouse admitted her dad wasn't interested in meeting big name rock 'n' roll celebrities at the bash, but would prefer to chat to veteran British TV presenter Terry Wogan.
She added, "There's going to be all these really cool people at the show, but he'll be looking for the Terry Wogans and (TV presenter) FERN BRITTONs!"
