Amy Winehouse will be barred from travelling to the US after being arrested for cannabis possession in Norway, according to her father.
Speaking on ITV1's This Morning, Mitch Winehouse claimed the class C substance didn't belong to the troubled chanteuse and says Amy and husband Blake Fielder-Civil were tricked into signing a confession.
However, the arrest means the Back to Black singer's assault on the American charts will have to be postponed until she receives the correct international clearance.
Taxi driver Mitch told the ITV1 show Amy signed release form in Bergen, Norway, last week, which turned out to be a confession to possessing the illegal drug.
He said: "This is being dealt with now by the Norwegian authorities and the British Consulate.
"The ramifications of it is she now can't get into the States and she was meant to go next week."
Though his daughter eventually went against the theme of her song Rehab and agreed to receive treatment after a drug overdose, Mitch admitted she's not 100 per cent clean.
He explained: "She's not drinking as heavily now but there are other problems.
"Bulimia is still apparent. She's put on about a stone but it's still affecting her health. And there's substance abuse as well."
