Amy Winehouse, KATE NASH and Radiohead are all nominated for Ivor Novello songwriting awards.

Brit School graduate KATE NASH will be hoping to take home the 'best song' gong for her debut single FOUNDATIONS, while AMY has two chance of scooping the prize as her hits YOU KNOW I'M NO GOOD and LOVE IS A LOSING GAME are both nominated in the category.

Winner of the 'best contemporary song' prize in 2007, REHAB is also up for the 'best-selling British song' accolade.

RADIOHEAD's IN RAINBOWS will be battling it out against offerings from Stephen Fretwell and CHERRY GHOST in the 'best album' category.

Last year the award went to Arctic Monkeys for WHATEVER PEOPLE SAY I AM THAT'S WHAT I'M NOT.

This year's winners will be revealed during a ceremony held in London on May 22nd.

Meanwhile, nominee AMY WINEHOUSE has stated that she wants her song for the upcoming Bond movie QUANTAM OF SOLACE to be as timeless as Shirley Bassey's GOLDFINGER.

The Daily Mirror quotes a friend of the songstress as saying: "All she kept saying was how she is desperate to nail this track so it will be a classic."
