Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse has been ordered to take time out from performing by her management following her shambolic tour opener in Serbia, according to U.K. reports.
The Rehab hitmaker was booed by fans in Belgrade after staggering onstage late, slurring her words and repeatedly stopping mid-song.
She subsequently scrapped shows in Turkey and Greece this week (begs20Jun11), and was due back onstage in Spain on 8 July (11).
But Britain's The Sun reports Winehouse's manager Ray Cosbert has ordered the star to take a substantial amount of time out from the spotlight to address her personal problems, and claims all upcoming gigs have been scrapped.
A source tells the publication, "It has been hard for Ray to watch her get into trouble over the years. There's only so much he can do - but enough's enough. She's going away and this time it could be for years."
Winehouse, who has long struggled with substance abuse, checked into rehab again last month (May11) in a bid to overcome her issues.
