Amy Schumer is celebrating her one year anniversary with the ''love of her life''.

The 'Trainwreck' star took to social media to share a sweet message for her boyfriend Ben Hanisch to mark their first 12 months of dating.

She wrote on Instagram: ''A year ago today I met the love of my life. Happy anniversary f***face. #Iwantoseeotherpeople. (sic)''

Whilst Ben wrote on his own account on the photo sharing site: ''A year ago I met the love of my life. We both weren't looking for a relationship at the time, but something felt right from the very first night we met.

''We ended up spending six days in a row together. This pic was taken in New Orleans and was the night I knew I wanted to spend my life with her.''

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old actress and comedienne previously admitted being in love is the ''scariest thing in the world''.

She said: ''Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f***ing cry and scream. I can't handle it. Every time we say goodbye, I think, 'This will have been a nice last week together.' Or I tell myself nothing is real and he's going to leave me and tell me he never loved me. I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me ... I feel like Ben is the first guy who's really been my boyfriend. There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it's the truth.''

And Amy recently insisted her boyfriend is ''totally different'' from the ''narcissistic'' men she has dated in the past.

She said: ''I usually would go for narcissists who, you know, could never be happy. [Ben's] just very supportive and loving and I think we're very proud of each other. He is so far removed from this business that it's really nice.''
