American Idol judge Simon Cowell has slammed the lawsuit over 2003 runner-up Clay Aiken's sexuality - calling the whole scenario "crazy". Former fans of Aiken have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against executives at RCA and Sony/BMG for fraud in light of tabloid reports claiming the wholesome pop singer is gay. Cowell was interviewed by talk show host Larry King and appeared visibly uncomfortable when asked about the controversy. Cowell said, "Well I heard about this. I mean what are they saying that he..." When King repeated the tabloid allegations that Aiken came on to another man, Cowell was caught off guard and tried to quickly change the subject by saying, "You hear all the rumours, whatever. "Then you hear the lawsuits are that he pretended to be straight or something. I mean it's just crazy, you know?"
