American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has a sweet new deal - confectionary giant Hershey have signed her up to sing jingles in their latest commercials.

The 22-year-old blonde beauty, who scooped her Idol title in May (05), will lend her voice to various candy bar commercials in a new ad campaign for the company.

Underwood is tipped to make millions in advertising deals alone and has also been selected as the new celebrity spokesmodel for shoe company Sketchers - a post previously held by both Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
