America joined some of her co-stars at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, on Saturday (11Jun16), where they reminisced about their time on the ABC show, which ran for four seasons until it was axed in 2010.

Michael Urie, Vanessa Williams, Eric Mabius, Ana Ortiz, Rebecca Romijn, Ashley Jensen, and showrunner Silvio Horta were among the Ugly Betty alumni who joked about the possibility of the series being revived, reports.

“It was like losing a family,” America said about the show's cancellation. "There’s always a little piece of me... that still doesn’t want to let this go.”

In an age where cancelled TV shows are being brought back to life by streaming services, anything is seemingly possible for the series that followed the journey of geeky fashion intern and budding writer Betty Suarez.

Last year (15), ATX hosted a reunion with the cast of the Gilmore Girls, and one year later, Netflix has rebooted the beloved series. While just this week (beg06Jun16), Nashville was revived by Hulu after being cancelled last month (May16).

"Hulu’s going to pick us up for a two-hour special,” America joked about the possibility of an Ugly Betty reunion. "That’s not true, but if you tweet it... Everybody here take out your phone. Hashtag: Betty Reboot. We need a hashtag and tweet it out and then we’re going to get Hulu to buy a two-hour special."

Showrunner Silvio Horta also chimed in on the possibility of a comeback, but had one condition - only the original cast and crew could be involved.

"Here’s the only thing I know for sure - if we were to do something, it would be a dream, but everybody on this stage would have to be involved. And Becki Newton,” he said of the actress, who missed the reunion due to suffering from pneumonia.

She later took to Twitter to support her fellow castmates, and retweeted Michael Urie's hashtag #HuluBringBackUglyBetty. The actor then posted a shot of the reunited cast on the social media site, with the caption, "Pure joy."
