I'll Be Your Mirror USA will return in 2012, at Asbury Park, New Jersey. All Tomorrows Parties announced that The Afghan Whigs, who reunited in 2011 after a thirteen year hiatus, will headline the event. Also performing at the event will be comedian Louis C.K.; The Roots, Jose Gonzalez and The Make-Up, who have reformed especially for the event after a twelve year absence.

The Afghan Wigs were one of the most critically acclaimed bands of 1990's, with six successful albums under their belt: Big Top Halloween (1988); Up in It (1990); Congregation (1992); Gentlemen (1993); Black Love (1996) and 1965 (1998). The band will also play at the I'll Be Your Mirror event in London in May 2012.

Meanwhile, The Make-Up released four studio albums - Destination: Love - Live! At Cold Rice(1996); Sound Verite (1997); In Mass Mind (1998) and Save Yourself (1999) - as well as a singles compilation, I Want Some, in 1999. They split up in 2000, due to a number of groups which had started to copy their unique style and sound.

After years of hosting I'll Be Your Mirror in New York, the event relocated to Asbury Park in New Jersey in 2011. The move paid off and the festival was a success, with Portishead headlining. All Tomorrow's Parties will announce more acts at I'll Be Your Mirror in the coming weeks, so keep you eyes peeled.
