2006 is turning out to be a pretty fine year for the All American Rejects. The second album from the Oklahoma quartet, 'Move Along', which was released nine months ago, has sold over a million copies worldwide. And the single 'Dirty Little Secret' has sold 1 million downloads on iTunes so far, with only 20 other tracks having done that since the service's launch. Now the picture-perfect power-pop single is released here on 19th June through Interscope/Doghouse Records.
Further evidence of the band's devout fanbase both here and in the US can be seen on the cult on-line community Myspace, where their current 'friends' total stands at an amazing 365,000.
Currently on a huge tour in the US and Canada with Fall Out Boy, Tyson and the boys will be back in the UK for Hammersmith Palais on 16th June. An extensive UK tour is currently being routed to coincide with the release of the third single from 'Move Along' in September.
The All American Rejects are:
Tyson Ritter (vocals/bass)
Nick Wheeler (guitars/keyboards/programming)
Mike Kennerty (guitar)
Chris Gaylor (drums)
Perry performed 'Rise' and 'Roar' before Clinton accepted the nomination to be the Democrats' presidential candidate.
Bruce Springsteen will release rare tracks from 1966 in new album 'Chapter and Verse', which will accompany his autobiography 'Born To Run'.
There's still no reunion planned though.
Not broadcast in its entirety since 1967, a full restoration will be played in select cinemas to support Ron Howard's 'Eight Days a Week' touring...
