Alien Ant Farm frontman DRYDEN MITCHELL plans to steer clear of Spain, after suffering serious injuries in a bus accident in the European country last year (02).
The SMOOTH CRIMINAL hitmakers and six members of their entourage were injured after their vehicle crashed near Navalmoral de la Mata, Spain, leaving the driver dead.
And Dryden was forced to undergo a back operation on his fractured vertebra after he was left temporarily paralysed in the summer of last year.
He says, "I wore a device for a month to stabilise my spine, then had surgery to fuse two vertebrae.
"I can't move my head side to side, and I feel a constant burning sensation in my chest and arms."
Despite the injury, Dryden and the band recorded a new album called TRUANT, due out tomorrow (19AUG03).
Dryden adds, "I'm back on tour, but not going to Spain."18/08/2003 09:14
