R&B singer-turned-actress Alicia Keys is expanding her film credentials after landing a production deal with Disney.
Keys, who has starred in movies Smokin' Aces and The Nanny Diaries, has teamed up with her manager Jeff Robinson to develop new live action and animation projects for the kids' entertainment giant.
Their first film, a remake of the 1958 comedy Bell, Book and Candle, will see Keys take on double duty as producer and actress, voicing a witch who casts a spell over an enemy's fiance.
But that's not all - Keys is also working on a TV series with U.S. network NBC, and the singer reveals she's even branching out on the stage.
She tells Uptown magazine, "I'm loving the diversity of the angles. I'm also working on a theatre piece. I want to create not only the music, but the stories."
