Bands including Alice In Chains will perform 20 fundraising concerts benefiting humanitarian relief in Darfur, Sudan later his month (OCT06). Organised by MySpace, the gigs will take place in cities across the US on 21 October (06) and will feature groups who promote themselves on the networking website's pages. Alice In Chains will perform in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; TV ON THE RADIO in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; GOV'T MILE in Spokane, Washington; Ziggy Marley in Medford, Oregon; Citizen Cope in Seattle, Washington; and Insane Clown Posse in St Petersburg, Florida. Other cities hosting benefit concerts are Melbourne, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Louisville, Kentucky; St Paul, Minneapolis; Reno, Nevada; Baltimore, Maryland; Asheville, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Washington DC and Californian cities Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco. All bands performing will donate a percentage of their ticket proceeds to charity Oxfam's relief efforts to help the victims of genocide in Sudan.
