Veteran rocker Alice Cooper has been forced to cancel an upcoming charity concert because of a scheduling conflict.

The School's Out hitmaker was due to hit the stage with his son Dash Cooper and his band Co-Op in Anchorage, Alaska, on 11 December (13) to raise cash for the star's artistic charity, The Solid Rock Foundation, which supports underprivileged youngsters.

However, the show has since been axed because of an unspecified scheduling conflict, and all tickets purchased are to be refunded.

A statement from Cooper's representative reads, "Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Presents Alice Cooper and Dash Cooper, with Co-Op, A Show to Benefit At Risk Teens in Anchorage, Alaska has unfortunately been cancelled due to an unexpected scheduling conflict. Because of some current unknowns in Alice's schedule, he was unable to fully commit to being at the show; therefore, the show had to ultimately be cancelled."
