Alexander McQueen will not hold an autumn/winter 2013-14 catwalk show this coming season.
The British label's creative director Sarah Burton is currently heavily pregnant with twins and will be on maternity leave during Paris Fashion Week in March, opting to stay in her hometown of London.
So the brand will hold a small private presentation for around 100 editors at a central Paris location in the afternoon of March 5.
Commercial appointments will be scheduled for later that evening.
However, Sarah plans to reclaim McQueen's traditional Paris Fashion Week evening show slot for spring/summer 2014.
Last year, Sarah - who took over at the label following the tragic suicide of its founder Alexander McQueen three years ago - received the OBE for services to the British fashion industry and admitted she felt ''very humbled'' to receive the accolade.
She said: ''I'm very, very humbled and it's just a huge honour to be here - I'm very lucky.''
And she also praised the style of Prince Charles, who presented her with her honour.
She said: ''I think he's got an amazing sense of style and has quite a history with Savile Row and has impeccable taste.''
