Alan Brown

Chip is an 18-year-old boy from Kansas with an extraordinary talent for dancing. After landing a priceless scholarship, he travels to New York to take part in a Soho dance program with four other dancers - an opportunity that could set him up to achieve his life's dream. However, after receiving a phonecall from his struggling mother begging him to come back home to a life that can only promise him poverty and misery, he is forced to make an importance decision between his own future and his family. Things are hard enough with the constant pressure of attempting perfection in his art and the strong competitiveness among his peers, but things get even more difficult when he begins to fall for his dance partner Theo. It is up to Chip to make the choice that he feels is right, but, barely an adult, will his choices make or break his dreams?
