Soul legend Al Green insists the songs on his new album EVERYTHING'S OK are aimed at middle-aged men who no longer find their partners attractive.
The singer-turned-preacher wants to encourage his male fans to find the spark that first made them fall for their wives, girlfriends and boyfriends so they can reassure their partners they're still beautiful.
The sweet-voiced LET'S STAY TOGETHER singer says, "Any man married to his wife for 40 years should be able to go into his house and say, 'I'm still in love with you. You're 40 pounds overweight, I'm still in love with you. Forget JENNY CRAIG (diet firm), I'm still in love with you."31/03/2005 09:03
